My Favorite Place to eat anywhere!!
I lived in new orleans for 11 years and was told about this place back in the late 90's and went and loved it. I went there every year for my birthday from that moment on that was and still is my favorite place to eat i now live about 4 hours from there and have driven down like 3 times to eat there. My family is all from mississippi and I took them there and now they love going as much as i do. The owner has always been very wonderful to us and the food is excellent. Great place for family eating or a romantic dinner.

DISRESPECTFUL
I heard their food was good but considering I ate NOTHING and didnt even get to a table, I wouldn't know. The rude hostess was unable to explain to me WHY they did not accomodate handicap people. This entire building was nothing but stairs! This is rude, disrespectful and hurtful. I would not recommend this to anyone that has difficulty walking or is bound to a wheelchair.

Atmosphere..Atmosphere..Atmosphere
The food is awesome and the senery is perfect for a romantic night and quiet night out. Only one recommendation, make reservations to have a table by the window for you can look out on the bayou while you eat.

Excellent food, horrible management!!
First off, the food is excellent. However, at what point do you say "enough is enough." I was looking forward to having dinner here with my family for my brother's birthday. We made reservations and had a wonderful view of the swamp. Unfortunately the weather was horrible and caused a member of our party to run late on arriving. Upon arriving, he kindly asked the hostess where his party was sitting, only to be answered by "your reservation was at 5:30 and I need that table by 7:30 (very rudely)." That was uncalled for. As he joined us at the table, we discovered that the hostess was also mean and rude to my brother and his wife. Throughout dinner, we were constantly reminded that the table was needed. Now I know it was somewhat our fault for running a little late, but that's where the restaurant should have made back up plans if parties run over. There were plently of other tables available for this 7:30 party. We should not have felt rushed through our meal. After all, we were paying a pretty good price for this dinner and wanted to enjoy every bit of it. Upon leaving, my mom confronted this hostess, which turns out to be the manager!!, just to let her know how disappointed we were. The hostess/manager argued back with my mom in a rather loud voice instead of just listening to what my mom had to say. This woman should not be interacting with other people if she is not going to give them the respect they deserve. This kind of treatment is expected at places like McDonald's, but surely not at a place as nice as this. I hope this woman is reprimanded. The customer should never be treated in this fashion, unless it is truely deemed appropriate. On the other hand, the wait staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. However, none of us will return because of how uncomfortable we all felt through out our experience.

Beats 2 Sisters all day!
This is probably one of the best dining experiences you could find on the west bank! The Brunches out do anything the Quarter has ever offered. Not only is the food excellent, the service is superior! Do make a reservation, this is a busy place, yet quite and quaint. Not over crowded, which the Quarter could take a clue from, and a view which is relaxing. Thanks
